For values-minded moms and daughters, American Heritage Girls is the confidence-building extra-curricular activity and inspiring adventure that helps girls realize their potential and become women of integrity because it is a faith-based organization where girls experience new challenges that teach service, team-building and leadership skills in a safe and fun environment. Founded in 1995 in Cincinnati, Ohio, AHG has grown from ten Troops and 100 members to more than 30,000 members spanning 48 states and four countries. The organization is impacting the nation with an emphasis on service with more than 329,550 hours in community service last year alone. The mission of American Heritage Girls is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. The small, all-girl unit within the AHG Troop structure provides a nurturing environment for learning and building positive relationships. Visit www.ahgonline.org for more information or to find a Troop near you.
